Butterfly Sugar Cookie

This is Shy Butterfly's favorite chidhood sugar cookie recipe!!  It is rich and sweet and a special treat! An original design that symbolizes the love of all things bright and beautiful!  One dollar from the sale of each cookie goes to support the Karner Blue Butterfly Project which aims to bring awarenes and advocacy to protecting our endangered friend, the Karner Blue Butterfly.
 
The karner Blue Butterfly is endangered...60% percent of them live in this part of the country.  The larvae only live off of the nectar of the Wild Blue Lupine, which is pollinated by the Rusty Patch Bumble Bee...who is also endangered!
